You must have a travel document valid for at least three months after the
estimated day of exit from Romania.
You must have hosting Agreement of the Romanian Ministry for Research and
Innovation (MCI).
You must have clean criminal record.
You must have travel medical insurance that covers the entire duration of
the requested period of stay.
The research and development organisations must be legally established.
Documents:
The application form, appropriately filled in and signed.
2 recent colour photos (size 3x4cm).
Copies of valid travel document that is recognized by Romania.
The hosting agreement of the Romanian Ministry for Research and Innovation
must contain at least the following elements: a) the title or purpose of
the research activity; b) an undertaking by the third-country national to
endeavor to complete the research activity; c) an undertaking by the
research and development organization to host the third-country national
for the purpose of completing the research activity; d) the start and end
date or the estimated duration of the research activity, etc.
The applicant’s criminal record, or any other document with the same legal
value, issued by the authorities in the state of domicile or residence,
bearing an apostle or extra-legalization, as the case may be.
Copies of medical insurance for the validity period of the visa.
