Chair of the international non-profit organisation WaterHarvest and Trustee of the Fredericks Foundation, which offers social companies in the UK access to innovative financing. Over the past 20 years, I have been more actively involved in Tech4Good, social impact companies, and charities supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6.1, 6.4, & 15). I have successfully built and sold two businesses, the first being Aquila Consulting Group, which I sold to a PE firm in 2006 after growing over a 12-year period, and the second being Profero, which was sold to the NYC-listed Interpublic Group (IPG Inc) in January 2014 with 10 global offices and c. 350 staff and a noteworthy c. 30%& IRR. Hands-on early stages to fast growth investor led by an angel or syndicate, including raising up to six figures in private equity for a number of private companies. Expert in independent dispute resolution at the board level with experience in a number of MBOs and MBIs. extensive experience working for both privately and publicly financed organisations in the areas of diversity, CSR, stakeholder management, leadership, risk assessment, business development, and change management. In the businesses and charities I have strategically nurtured, mentored, and coached over the last 25& years for growth and ultimate exits, I have developed strong interim leadership and established demonstrably effective Executive teams, with a particular focus on using digital transformation.
