VISA INTERVIEW. All visa applicants are requested to appear in person for
an interview with a consular officer.
You must also prove that the amount of income you receive is sufficient to
meet your maintenance and that of your primary family group. For the
purposes of granting residence, the provisions of Law No. 25,246, on
Cover-up and Laundering of Assets of Criminal Origin, will be taken into
account.
In order to be able to access a temporary residence as a rentier, the
minimum amount required is $1800 USD per person.
Documents:
PASSPORT. Submit ORIGINAL and a COPY of the 1st page. The passport or
travel document must be valid for a minimum of six (6) months from the
intended date of entry and have at least two (2) blank pages.
TWO (2) CURRENT PHOTOS: full front view, in color, on a white background, 1
½ x 1 ½ inches.
Criminal record of the country of origin. The Document must/must be
endorsed by the Argentine consular authority or with the apostille of the
Hague Convention or endorsed by the consular authority of the issuing
country in Argentina (only valid for Mercosur countries and associated).
Required only to foreigners over 16 years of age.
Certificate of address or public service invoice in your name.
Stamp of entry to the country stamped on the travel document.
You must prove to the National Directorate of Migration the origin of the
funds and their entry into the country, through banking or financial
institutions authorized by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.
All documentation issued abroad must have the legalization of the Argentine
Consulate, located in the country issuing the document, or Apostillada, if
the country has ratified the Hague Convention.
Documentation issued by consular representations in the national territory
must have the legalization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
International Trade and Worship, except MERCOSUR.
