You must have been working in Canada under the Live-in Caregiver Program
for at least 24 months.
You must have a valid work permit to work in a home offering live-in care
for children, seniors or the disabled.
Your work experience must be acquired within four years of your date of
arrival.
Documents:
Letter from current employer with start date and that you still work for
them.
Contracts with current and previous employer.
Statement of earnings showing working hours and deductions made by
employers.
Record of wages and deduction sent to Canada Revenue Authority (CRA) by
employer.
Record of Employment (ROE) from all previous employers.
Assessment notice issued by Canada Revenue Authority(CRA) by employer from
the date you entered Canada as a Live- in Caregiver Program.
Photocopies of valid passport pages of you and each of family member.
Two passport size photos of you and all family members in Canada with the
name and date of birth printed on only 1 of those photos.
Birth certificates and or baptismal certificates for you and all your
family members.
If you are married, include marriage certificate, proof of common
law-relationships (if applicable).
Divorce, annulments or death certificates, if you were previously married.
Custody papers of dependent children (if applicable).
Originals of all police certificates for you and all family members
(Include details of criminal conviction, if applicable).
Photocopy of pardon obtained from National Parole board (if applicable).
Certified translation of documents that are not in English.
Copy of receipt showing amount paid.
