Amit Gupta completed his undergraduate studies from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2000. Growing usage of mobile phones in the developing markets inspired Amit to co-found InMobi in 2007. Amit aspires for InMobi to be one of the most successful internet product companies across the global emerging out of India. Amit heads InMobi’s Revenue and Operations and responsible for taking company to a sustainable profitability mark. He has played an instrumental role in expanding InMobi’s footprint to multiple markets across 5 continents. Amit has been a serial entrepreneur, prior to InMobi, Amit founded Analyticsworks, a company that offered a platform for business intelligence. His professional experience include hot start ups like Andale where worked directly with the CEO to help initiate new areas of revenues for the company, Aditi that gave him hands on experience on building software and a large multinational bank Citigroup where he helped to start scalable business intelligence unit for their consumer finance business. Amit is passionate about entrepreneurship. He has been helping several young entrepreneurs by advising them on every aspect of running a start up. He has received a highly coveted Distinguish Alumni Award from his alma mater for his exceptional entrepreneurial achievements. Earlier in the year, InMobi was recognized by MIT Technology Review as one of the top 50 disruptive companies in the world for 2013.<\/p>\n
