Durban, 42, is a Managing Partner and Managing Director of Silver Lake, a global private equity firm. Durban joined Silver Lake in 1999 as a founding principal and is based in the firm\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Menlo Park office. He has previously worked in the firm\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s New York office, as well as the London office, which he launched and managed from 2005 to 2010. Durban has been a member of the Boards of Directors of Dell Inc. and Denali Holding Inc. since the closing of Dell Inc.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s going private transaction in October 2013. Durban serves on the Board of Directors of Intelsat S.A. and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of WME Entertainment. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of Skype, was the Chairman of its operating committee, served on the supervisory board and operating committee of NXP B.V., and served on the Board of Directors of MultiPlan Inc. Durban currently serves on the Board of Directors of Tipping Point, a poverty-fighting organization that identifies and funds leading non-profit programs in the Bay Area to assist individuals and families in need. Prior to Silver Lake, Durban worked in Morgan Stanley\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s investment banking division. While at Morgan Stanley, Durban organized and led a joint initiative between the Corporate Finance Technology Group and the Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Sponsors Group to analyze and present investment opportunities in the technology industry. Previously, Durban worked in Morgan Stanley\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Corporate Finance Technology and Equity Capital Markets groups.
