With a diverse background in marketing, sales, engineering, and executive leadership, Charles Chi is Lytro\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s resident Swiss Army knife. He and his colleagues at Greylock Partners seeded the company and, as one of its earliest backers, Charles worked tirelessly with the team to bring this technology out of the lab and into the hands of consumers. When he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not navigating the capricious currents of Silicon Valley, Charles quenches his thirst for adventure on the high seas, recently sailing over 7,000 miles in 18 months. His professional journeys have spanned the technology map, from enterprise infrastructure and software to the semiconductor and communications sectors. Charles developed and launched many innovative products and services during his time at Cisco, StrataCom, AT&T Canada and Bell Canada. He went on to co-found and lead marketing at Lightera Networks, Inc., an optical core switching company acquired by CIENA corporation, where he served as vice president of marketing. Charles holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in systems and computer engineering from Carleton University.<\/p>\n
