Cruz is recognized throughout the technology industry as an influential thought leader, and speaks regularly on topics related to technology, health insurance and business operations. He is a member of the Young Presidents\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Organization and serves on the board of Techweek and Imerman Angels. In 2013, Cruz was a Midwest winner of the Ernst &#038; Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
