Dean Gilbert is an accomplished senior executive, management coach, and investor with a particular focus on digital media and all things video. Recently, he served as a management coach and senior advisor at YouTube. His current investments include Victorious, Wochit, Vidible, TasteMade, Vadio and Tubular Labs. He also serves on the Board of Joyus, Victorious and Wochit, and advises MiTu Network, ExtendTV, Culture Machine(India), and Sports Media Ventures. He’s also a Special Advisor at Redpoint Ventures. During his six years at Google, he served as VP, Global Head of Content and Operations at YouTube and, as a product VP, built the teams that shipped Adsense for TV, Google TV and Chromecast. He is former Managing Partner for Sandalwood Investments, an independent private investment firm. In this capacity, he served on the board or as an advisor to several start-up companies in media and technology. Gilbert is former EVP, General Manager for @Home Network and former CEO of @Home Solutions. As founding GM of @Home, Gilbert held P & L responsibility for the consumer services division and served on the road show team that successfully completed two public offerings of @Home shares. Gilbert has extensive executive management experience in digital media, broadband services, and Internet based platforms. Prior to @Home, he was President and CEO of Positive Communications, Inc. an independent provider of wireless products and services. During his years in the cable television industry, Gilbert was EVP, Group Operations at KBLCOM, Inc., where he led several operating divisions, including oversight of the media investment subsidiary. Prior to KBLCOM, Gilbert held various executive level marketing and management positions with Time Warner, TCI\/KnightRidder, and Continental Cablevision. Gilbert holds a B.A. and M.A. degrees from Michigan State University and is a graduate of Stanford University\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Executive Management Program.<\/p>\n
