He was the former VP Engineering at Drop, an intelligent app that surfaces offers &#038; rewards based on what members are spending, creating a personalized, seamless experience. He was also a former Director of Engineering for Payments at Airbnb, a community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique spaces around the world.  Ian has led engineering teams over many years, overseeing architecture and implementation of the website and helped Airbnb grow the payments platform internationally to process dozens of different currencies and payment methods.  Ian joined Airbnb as an early engineer and built out other teams related to growth and site performance engineering.
