Robert is an active angel investor in the United States, and is the Singapore ambassador for Singularity University, based in Mountain View, California, and a member of the Innovation Board of XPRIZE Foundation. He is currently a board member of Anacle Systems Pte. Ltd., Scanadu Holdings Pte. Ltd., Alexandra Health System Pte. Ltd., Integrated Health Information Systems Pte. Ltd., Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, TOUCH Community Services Limited, Shared Services for Charities Limited, National Council of Social Service, and the Singapore Institute of Directors. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and was awarded SCS's IT Leader of the Year in 2009, and SCS's President Award in 2014. He chaired the Information Technology Standards Committee from 2005 to 2012, and currently chairs its Cloud Computing Standards Task Force. For his contribution to standards development, he was awarded SPRING's Distinguished Partner Award in 2011. He was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2013. Robert was formerly a partner of Accenture where he led the strategy practice in Southeast Asia and the Communications, Media and High Tech industry practice in Singapore.
