Prior to joining Point72 Ventures, David worked at Lightspeed and then DFJ Growth, where he sourced, managed, or supported investments in Handshake, Velo3D, Anjuna, Planet Labs, Cylance, and Docker, among others. David is a founder at heart, with an unrelenting drive to support entrepreneurs changing how enterprises are built. Prior to venture capital, David held engineering and product management roles at Palantir Technologies and Lookout Mobile Security. David began his career as an analyst within the U.S. Intelligence Community, focused on the Middle East, including several war zone deployments. David earned his BA from Yale University and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is passionate about helping veterans transition back to the civilian world post-deployment, and is a mentor at The Honor Foundation.
