Beatriz Gonzalez serves as the founder and managing partner at Seaya Ventures. Beatriz also serves as a board member in Cabify, Glovo, Spotahome, Buguroo, Wallbox and Bewe. Beatriz is the chairman of the VC Committee of ASCRI and vice president of ASCRI. Beatriz has been working in the private equity industry since 2002 most recently heading the private equity program in Telefonica’s pension Fund for six years. During that time Beatriz was also a board member of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) from 2008 until 2011. Before that, Beatriz worked at Darby Overseas Investments, a US-based private equity firm where she was part of the Latin America mid-market growth fund. After that she joined Excel Partners a Spanish mid-market growth fund. Before entering the private equity sector Beatriz González worked in the Equity Research Department at Morgan Stanley in London and also at Spain based Internet consultant company Qarana. Beatriz holds a business degree from CUNEF University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
