Akshay joined Lightspeed India Partners Advisors LLP (LSIP) in 2015 from Flipkart.com, where he was a founding member of the Corporate Development team and spearheaded early-stage investments in the e-commerce, mobile tech, and consumer internet eco-systems. Akshay previosuly co-founded Whalelogix, a seed-funded e-commerce data-science startup in San Francisco. Prior to Whalelogix, he was a member of the investment team at Accel Partners where he focused on early-stage consumer investments in India. Earlier in his career, Akshay advised private equity funds in evaluating investments during his time at the US and India offices of Bain & Company. Akshay is passionate about the tech startup eco-system and has served as a mentor at Microsoft Ventures India as well as to several entrepreneurs. Akshay holds an MBA from The Wharton School, Philadelphia and graduated with Highest Honors with a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
