Ward W. Woods is a Special Partner of Bessemer Holdings & Co., and BayBoston Managers LLC. Woods serves as a Manager at Bessemer Securities LLC. He was Special Partner of Lindsay Goldberg. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Bessemer Securities LLC and at Bessemer Securities Corporation from 1989 until his retirement in December 1999. He serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Wildlife Conservation Society, Chair of the Advisory Council of The Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, and serves as a trustee of the David & Lucille Packard Foundation. Woods served as a Director of Essex International Inc. since 1992. Woods served as Director of Contour Energy Co., 9now known as Samson Contour Energy Co.) since February 1996 until his resignation on June 12, 2002. He served as a Director of Officemax Incorporated from 1992 to December 31, 2005. He was Director of National Fish & Wildlife Foundation.
