Swati joined KPCB from Square, where she was responsible for business operations and strategy for Square’s international efforts in Canada and Japan, and led product marketing for Square’s premium software efforts. Prior to Square, she was head of sales and client services at Quid, where she developed the data analytics company’s early revenue model and client base. Swati began her career at Google working on mobile technology efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa and India within Google.org. Swati received an A.B. degree with the highest honors in Development Studies from Harvard University and an MPhil in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. Swati is also a Truman Scholar, and passionate about the role great technology companies and teams can play in solving important world challenges.
