His career includes high-profile roles at Vocera Communications, Inc. (VCRA), Wound Care Solutions, Inc., Neoforma, Inc. (NEOF), Cardinal Health, Inc. (CAH), Baxter International, Inc. (BAX), and American Hospital Supply Corporation (AHSC). Now, after three decades of personal and professional success, Robert Zollars is taking on a new role to help companies and colleagues grow. In 2014, he began transitioning from an operating executive to an experienced board member, assisting CEOs and their management teams expand their businesses and create more value. A member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Robert enjoys giving back and believes it is extremely important. Since May 2004, Robert has served on the board of directors of VWR International, LLC, and from 2005-2016 he was a board member for Diamond Foods. He joined the board of directors of Five9 in December 2013 and serves as chairman of the compensation committee and as a member of the nominating and governance committee. In 2015, Robert joined the board of directors for Leiter’s Compounding and Kate Farms and was named Co-chair of Trustees of ASU. Throughout his career, Robert was very fortunate to have many good mentors; and now he is in a position to help guide and support others in their career. In addition to giving his time and advice, Robert strongly believes in giving back financially. He, along with his wife and children, focus their support on a few personal issues and important partners, including clinical research on cancer prevention and treatment with UCLA Health System, secondary education and research at Arizona State University (ASU), supporting the musical culture of New Orleans post Katrina via The Tipitina's Foundation, and helping with California's most pressing challenges alongside Battery Powered in San Francisco.
