Mark is currently Chief Executive Officer and Board member at Alteryx (AYX:NYSE) and is a Venture Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners and currently sits on the Board of Directors at Cloudflare (NET). He is also executive chair at Apiseq - an early stage cyber security company. Mark was an investor and Executive Chairman at Avi Networks, and helped facilitate the sale to VMWare mid-2019. From 2012 to November 2018, Mark held a number of roles including President at Palo Alto Networks. He joined prior to the IPO in July, 2012 and helped build the go-to-market engine that fueled sales growth that saw sales growth of well over 10x during this time. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Mark ran Worldwide Sales at F5 Networks from 2007-20012. Strong revenue growth over his 8 year tenure at F5 delivered strong investor returns and helped build F5 into the category dominator it is today. Mark has also held sales leadership positions at RadioFrame Networks, and Cisco. Mark was also actively involved at the University of Washington: having previously served as a member of the UW Tyee Board of Advisors as well as being a founding member of the Advisory Board to the Foster School of Business' Sales Certificate Program. Anderson holds a B.A. in Business and Economics from York University in Toronto.
