Juney Ham is currently the co-founder and CEO of Beacon, a vetted community and talent marketplace of forward-thinking recruiters and people operations practitioners. Beacon connects high-intent candidates with opportunities at progressive, high-growth companies. Previously, Ham was the Chief Marketplace Officer of Hired, a career marketplace for the world’s knowledge workers. Within this role, Ham oversaw Hired’s marketing, insights, product, and talent teams. Prior to joining Hired, Ham served as a Senior Vice President at Envestnet, a leading provider of integrated portfolio, practice management, and reporting solutions for financial advisors and institutions. He joined Envestnet through the acquisition of Upside, a financial technology startup providing a robo-advisor for independent financial advisors, where he served as President and co-founder. Prior to Upside, Ham was the Director of Online Marketing for Airbnb, responsible for driving worldwide supply and demand acquisition. His domain of accountability included search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social advertising, email marketing and online partnership operations. Prior to Airbnb, Ham was the Vice President of Global Paid Search for Expedia Worldwide, managing online marketing for Expedia points of sale globally along with product infrastructure, reporting and analytics. Before Expedia, he held engineering, product development and operational roles at Experian Interactive Media and Shopzilla (now Connexity). Ham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
