Jarrod Sierocki is a 38 year old businessman from NSW, Australia who has interests in all types of business. Jarrod made his move to focus on disruptive business models in professional services in early 2010, specifically in the insolvency accounting space, where he singlehandedly changed the price structure and the way insolvency products were marketed in Australia. The businesses which he started now rank consistently among the top 5 performers in the insolvency industry. Jarrod then founded a “digital efficiency model” in the automotive industry named Dealer Trade in September 2012 which effectively removed physical auctions and enabled direct, Dealer-to-Dealer transactions to occur. Not stopping there, Jarrod and the team took that business to the UK, then founded CarRecord prior to being the only Australian parent company with a US subsidiary to become licensed to sell “consumer vehicle data” in the USA and the UK. His achievements in business have been remarkable with strong relationships having been built with good business acumen. As a result of a strong team and good culture, Jarrod and his team have been able to join forces with some of the largest companies in the world including eBay owned Gumtree, Mitsubishi, NADA and the AAMVA. More recently, partnering with Skoda UK to export technology built and delivered from Brisbane, Queensland. After being the victim of a cyber-bullying incident in late 2011, Jarrod commenced proceedings in the Supreme Court against his cyber-bully and was awarded the largest award of damages in Queensland’s history. He had also commenced proceedings against Google, Microsoft and Yahoo to keep them accountable for their search results. During this period, Jarrod has showed his resilience and his extreme will to succeed beyond any challenge presented. Jarrod often speaks out about the danger victims face with online bullying at events such as the annual NO 2 HARM Conference run by the Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Association. Jarrod also has a very strong affiliation with organisations assisting returning soldiers who are suffering from PTSD. Jarrod has an incredible passion for digital efficiency and solving inherent industry problems together with strong community values displayed by his remarkable long-term input and support in all levels of sporting activity which is vitally important and a big part of Australian culture. Along with supporting a variety of sports at the grassroots level, Jarrod and his family have previously sponsored the Sydney Kings, the Brisbane Bullets and the Gold Coast Blaze and were recently the field sponsor for the 2018 Global Tens, International Rugby tournament held at Suncorp Stadium. Jarrod was the Chairman of the Clem Jones Brisbane Spartans. Jarrod was also the Chairman of the SEQ Stars organisation, a franchise in the (WNBL) top women’s basketball league in Australia, which starred 3 Olympians in the squad and Shane Heal, a previous NBA player and Australian basketball Olympian, as coach. Jarrod has post graduate university qualifications and holds qualifications in accounting. Jarrod holds a Professional Practice Certificate in accounting, has licenses in construction, motor dealing and as a commercial agent.
