Being in love with building things, Jai joined the crypto scene in its 2016 infancy. When seeing others struggle to trade long-tail assets, Jai built a mobile wallet, Ambo, that had a decentralized exchange and fiat on-ramp built in. In 2018, Ambo was acquired by MyCrypto, a larger Ethereum wallet, which was subsequently acquired by MetaMask. During his time at MyCrypto, he advised over the first integrations of many DeFi protocols such as Compound Finance and MakerDAO. Jai’s passion for DeFi only grew and soon decided he would start his own DeFi protocol. After being frustrated with not being able to borrow against many of his tokens, Jai called David to help start Rari Capital. Together they enabled all crypto-assets to be borrowed and lent, eventually growing the platform to over $1.5b. They led the protocol into the first DeFi M&A with the Tribe DAO which gave them the opportunity to sink their teeth into Pentagon. Now Jai explores his wide set of interests to solve some of the earth's biggest problems.
