Brian McMahon is currently the CEO and President of Bandura Cyber. In his role, he is responsible for the operations of all of Bandura's business units and he also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors. Brian was most recently the President of Platforms & Data at Fractal Industries (now Qomplx), the world's first Human & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Operating System. As head of the Platforms and Data group, Brian was responsible for the development and distribution of all platform products as well as the data in the Qomplx platform. Brian served as the CEO of MapQuest, the pioneer in online mapping, which served over 40M monthly consumers and hundreds of thousands of developers during his tenure. Brian was responsible for vision, strategy and operations over all MapQuest business units. He was responsible for the first MapQuest consumer user growth in almost a decade, a revitalization of their SaaS based location platform and the creation of a new Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business unit to monetize and utilize the significant amount of location data that MapQuest generates. Prior to his time at MapQuest, Brian co-founded Fishbowl Labs, Northern Virginia's premier startup incubator and served as Vice President of Business Development at AOL. In his role at AOL, Brian led and managed the BD teams responsible for AOL Search, Local, MapQuest, Paid Services, AIM, Mobile, AOL.com, AOL Mail, Commerce & Marketplace, and corporate functions. He was responsible for managing AOL’s search relationship with Google as well as several other strategic partnerships. He also ran Business Development and Operations for AOL's Technology division, where he managed all business development for AOL's technology relationships, including their data centers, their Tier 1 network backbone and their entire hardware, network and software infrastructure. Brian is an advisor and investor in local Washington, D.C area startups and serves as a Mentor @ SparkLabs Cyber & Blockchain in DC.
