Barb Stinnett is the founder and CEO of Timmaron Group (“TG”), a global services company focused on applied technologies and offering strategic planning, business development, informatics, transformative consulting, and investments in early stage disruptive technologies. Recognized for her expertise in software in the healthcare, media and digital content, consumer and predictive analytics markets, Barb works with entrepreneurs and Fortune 25 alike with her global firm. She participates in community activities as a mentor for Minnesota Emerging Software Advisory (MESA), judge for the Minnesota and Fowler Cups, board member for multiple companies, and chairwoman for the Chief Executive Council, an invited CEO membership organization based in Silicon Valley. She is a seasoned operating executive, with more than 25 years of Silicon Valley experience and a successful track record, in consumer and enterprise markets. Her past experience includes Hewlett Packard – where she played a key role in the HP/ Compaq merger, Oracle – where she built their Data Informatics global organizations, Cisco – where she served as their global leader for the Communications and Service Provider business unit, and Sybase – where she led the acquisition of iAnywhere and assisted in the transformation of the company from a database to a mobile informatics organization. In addition, Barb has been CEO for multiple software firms, with a solid track record of delivering results and exits that have been beneficial to shareholders and customers alike. She has assisted early stage companies position for their raises, totaling over $500 million during a three year period. Her relationships with local angels and global VC and private equity firms brings experience to the Fund in and outside of the Midwest.
